Company Description: the Itaú Foundation, created in 2019, is a non-profit organization that operates in three areas: Itaú Cultural (promoting culture and the arts), Itaú Social (projects to improve public education and strengthen civil society), and Itaú Education and Work (professional qualification and job creation). It seeks to contribute to a more just and egalitarian country, with opportunities for all.
Project Participation: Product Designer and Project Manager (via Compass UOL)
Challenge: To completely redesign the layout and visual identity of the Fundação Itaú’s internal management and CRM system. In this project, I exceptionally held two roles: Product Designer and Project Manager, requiring strong resource management and prioritization.
Solution: With a small team, I acted as both Product Designer (UX/UI) and Project Manager. We began with discovery workshops with Fundação Itaú stakeholders to understand the requirements for the new system version. We redesigned the entire visual identity, addressed critical gaps in the existing tool, and created and adapted the pre-existing flow to a new visual and navigation concept. This made the platform much more intuitive, with visual cues that aided navigation and form completion. We also ensured the implementation of minimum accessibility requirements to further broaden the platform’s usage. We employed change management strategies to facilitate user adoption.

Status: Delivered in 2023
Results: We delivered on time and within scope, improving usability, accessibility, and implementing a completely renewed visual identity. We achieved up to a 20% reduction in layout-related errors and increased user adoption of the platform. Following delivery, we were contracted for an additional six months of platform maintenance and support, highlighting successful project closure and post-project support.
