Company Description: Itaú Cultural (IC) is an organization dedicated to research, content production, mapping, promoting, and disseminating artistic and intellectual expressions. It contributes to the appreciation of culture in a society as complex and heterogeneous as Brazil.

Project Participation: Delivery Manager (via Compass UOL)

Challenge: To completely redesign the layout and visual identity of the Itaú Cultural website. This included migrating all existing content to the cloud on a new integrated system compatible with the legacy system, re-tagging content for publications, and creating a brand-new CMS. This project required robust project planning and risk management.

Solution: With a small team (one UX designer, three developers, and one Project Manager), we successfully delivered the contracted work within the established project timeline. Working directly with the client’s Product Owner (PO) and Itaú stakeholders, we established recurring meetings for discovery and deliverables, using Agile methodologies (Scrum). The initial understanding gained through UX workshops and stakeholder management ensured smoother project development with clear agreements on both sides. This clarified the scope for the migration and development teams. We focused on scope management and effective communication management to ensure project success.

Tools: Jira, Notion, Figma, and Miro (Tools for project tracking, documentation, design, and collaboration)

Status: Delivered in 2023

Results: We delivered the project on time and within budget, improving usability, accessibility, and implementing a completely renewed visual identity. We achieved a nearly 50% increase in website traffic within the first three months of implementation. The client was highly satisfied with the delivery, leading to contract renewal for ongoing maintenance and support. Furthermore, this successful project resulted in two additional contracts in other Itaú business areas, demonstrating effective client relationship management and business development.
